Dear Oxbridge Partners and Affiliates,

Oxbridge has been invited to a lunch time virtual “Space Zoom” seminar featuring Dr Hemant Chaurasia (see https://www.fleetspace.com/team/dr-hemant-chaurasia) and Nina Hooper. Dr. Hemant Chaurasia and Nina Hooper will share highlights and insights from their rich and diverse experiences at various space startups in Australia and the United States. These remarkable startups – spanning orbital launch systems, satellite communications, space-enabled mineral exploration, the harvesting of natural resources from space, and Moon exploration – include Astra, Fleet Space Technologies, Interlune and Swarm Technologies (since acquired by SpaceX). This fascinating and interactive session will be hosted and moderated by Dr. Dilani Kahawala.

Hemant holds Ph.D and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from MIT and bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and physics from Monash University. He currently leads product development at Fleet Space Technologies.
Nina holds a master’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in astrophysics from Harvard University. She currently leads business development at Interlune.

Dilani holds Ph.D and master’s degrees in physics from Harvard University and bachelor’s degrees in electrical and computer systems engineering, and physics and mathematics from Monash University.
