Mr Axton Salim is a Director of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (Indofood), a leading Indonesian food company with operations spanning from the production of raw materials and their processing to consumer products in the market. He is also a Director of Indofood’s Consumer Branded Products business group, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), which manufactures and markets a diverse range of consumer products including noodles, dairy, snack foods, food seasonings, nutrition and special foods, and beverages. He also heads the Dairy Division as well as Corporate Marketing Division.

Mr Salim is also a Vice President Director of PT Indolakto, Director of Pacsari Pte Ltd, Director of Codigo Pte Ltd, a Non-Executive Director of Indofood Agri Resources Ltd and Gallant Venture Ltd, as well as Commissioner of PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, and PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk. He started his career in Indofood Group as a Brand Manager of the Snack Division, PT Indofood Fritolay Makmur. He is also involved in various Salim Group ventures such as Accelerice, an Indonesian-based food accelerator that empowers and scales up small medium businesses.

Mr Salim has served as Global Co-Chair of Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Business Advisory Group since 2014. He served as Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) council member from May 2012 to May 2014. As a member of the inaugural cohort of the Obama Foundation’s Leaders: Asia-Pacific Programme, he is committed to values-based leadership and community engagement.
