[Harvard Alumni]: SYDNEY THANKSGIVING EVENT : An Evening of Food, Fun & Fellowship

Dear Oxbridge Partners and Affiliates,

Oxbridge is proud to present another Harvard entrepreneurship alumni event. Oxbridge’s core philosophy is entrepreneurship – Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs. Oxbridge members have access to the Ivy League, Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Club internationally as guests, open only to Harvard Alumni, Faculty and Staffs.  Harvard alumni, faculty, and researchers have included numerous Nobel laureates and Fields Medal recipients, and more alumni have been members of the U.S. Congress, MacArthur Fellows, Rhodes Scholars (375), Marshall Scholars (255), and Fulbright Scholars than any other university in the world. Its alumni include eight U.S. presidents and 188 living billionaires, the most of any university globally. Fourteen Turing Award laureates have been Harvard affiliates. Students and alumni have won 10 Academy Awards, 48 Pulitzer Prizes, and 110 Olympic medals (46 gold), and they have founded many notable companies including Microsoft, Facebook, Citigroup, CVS and Blackstone, including the current CEO of NAB Australia.

Thanksgiving this year falls on Thursday 23rd November and the annual HCA Sydney Thanksgiving Dinner will be a traditional affair held that evening.  With a theme of ‘Giving Thanks’ throughout the evening, a fun history of the origin and traditions of Thanksgiving will be shared, and a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served.

23 November, 2023, 6-9 pm – Tattersalls Club, 181 Elizabeth St, Sydney

Your friendly emcee with American accent, Melinda Muth, will ensure there are plenty of opportunities to socialise with fellow members and guests with a number of interactive and light-hearted activities during the night. The evening will finish with a pie tasting – will the winner be pumpkin, pecan or apple? Your votes will be carefully counted and a winner announced.

Don’t miss this Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner where we can enjoy a  delicious meal and fun evening of fellowship. Cost: $135 per person, all inclusive dinner and beverages. Registrations can be made online soon.
