If you’re thinking about your next career move, how would you identify a promising startup? At the next HAE New York event, we will hear from Monica Desai (HBS ‘17), Principal at Kleiner Perkins. She will offer tips in a discussion with Jack Stone (Harvard AB 2020) followed by open Q&A.

About Our Guests
Monica Desai joined Kleiner Perkins in 2018 and focuses on investments in fintech, blockchain and consumer. Prior to joining Kleiner Perkins, Monica led Operations & Strategy at Blockchain, where she helped the company develop an institutional platform. Monica began her career as a bond trader at JPMorgan, where she managed TMT and industrial high grade credit portfolios.
Originally from New York City, Monica holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Math and Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. When she’s not deep in the crypto-sphere, Monica enjoys traveling to countries with spotty cell service, Chelsea art gallery crawls, and long reads of the Sunday New York Times in print.
Jack Stone is a Kleiner Perkins Management Fellow and Associate Product Manager at Better. A graduate of Harvard College Class of 2020 he has a passion for technology and entrepreneurship.
